Additional Photos of Playmobil Funpark

As promised, here are more photos of Plamobil Funpark (mostly the areas aimed at younger children, and also the "balance course"

The most contained area, perfect for the littlest ones, is the farm section.  This area includes a pedal tractor track--children can wait for their turn to ride a tractor around a twisting path, and the two story barn building pictured below.  The lower level of the barn is divided into two sides--one has "cows" that the kids can "milk."  Water, rather than milk, comes out into plastic buckets.  Many kids then carry their buckets full of water over to the other side, where there are a number if "horses" with grooming brushes.  The thing to do seems to be to use the water/milk collected from the cows to wash the horses.
We've never gone up into the section story, there is obviously a slide to ride down--I am not sure what other fun may be in store up there though.

Near the farm are the adorable little pedal powered boats.  These are operated by HAND pedals.  Riders can be squirted with water from landlubbers riding foot pedaled powered bikes.

The Wild West section also appeals more to the younger ones than the older (though it has a pretty board cross appeal).  There are several sections within the entire theme--but each is fairly well enclosed, making it easier for parents to keep track of the younger set.  It is set up as a Wild West town.  The little buildings have a ball toss game and a few interactive displays.  There is also a coin press machine that takes a 5 Euro cent coin to press and does not require any additional payment.

The "panning for gold" sand box has plenty of strainers available.  There are a pretty large number of "gold nuggets" (rocks spray painted gold) as well as a few polished stones buried in the sand for the kids to find.  The kids can dig all they want free of charge.  A sign shows the dozen or so polished rock possibilities and asked that parents limit children to no more than one of each of those to take home (plus any gold nuggets they want).  You can do that for free, or they sell Playmobil treasure chests to keep your loot in, for 1 euro each (not bad).

Here are some photos of the little Stage Coach and horses to play on as well:

There is also a fairly well enclosed area made to look as if it in in a canyon.  There are several "bulls" in the area and lots of hula hoops that the kids can toss over them.  From that section you can also got into the "mine tunnel" which has a few displays (ropes to pull, etc) and lets out by a river and another sand play area.

The final area is the "balance course" which is really just a big playground with a fair number of higher up sections.  It was a lot of fun for all ages and seemed quite popular:

I hope you enjoyed this final tour of Playmobil Funpark and that you are having a great summer weekend.
