We started off with Phantom Manor. This is the Parisian version of the Haunted Mansion and it is set in the wild west. It's significantly different and interesting, but with a similar feel to the original.
The stretch room actually stretches here--which is pretty cool, and you end in a Wild West ghost town, of course.
Big Thunder Mountain was up and running again, with almost no line as well. Do you see the mountain out there? It's an island. The first thing your train does is shoot into a dark underwater passage to get you out onto the island for a pretty long ride around the very well themed and built area, before sending you back through dark tunnels to the mainland at the end. It is by far my favourite of the Big Thunders.
Here are some more shots of the theming in Frontierland, while we are there:
I didn't nab photos of everything, as we were moving pretty fast, but we were also able to pick up Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan's Flight (the ships in DLP hold 4 to 6 people in two rows), and a spin on the tea cups, followed by a tea party photo op outside of Alice's Labyrinth:
We headed out at about 10:30, not waiting for fireworks, and turned in having had a very pleasant evening in the park.
