Here Comes the Sun!

This year Germany has the darkest January on record (sunshine records have been kept for 43 years) and the darkest winter in 43 years.  I did not take this photo (I pulled from the Heidelberg Photography facebook page)--but this truly is how Heidelberg looked for most of the last two months:

It looks like the Dementors are about to swoop down, doesn't it?  

So, it was with great joy that we awoke to SUNSHINE on Saturday.  Sunshine that has carried through the weekend and into today--a day on which we have hit 55 degrees!!!!!!!!  It looks like we will have two more days of sun, before the clouds roll back in.  Marika and I hope to get downtown tomorrow and snap some sunny photos for you :)

I hope your March is breaking tradition and coming in like a lamb as well.
