Bridging to Ambassadors

It was a busy day here---please forgive one more detour from the cruise report, and then I will be back on track.

Today Marika bridged up to the next (and last) level of Girl Scouting.  No longer a Girl Scout Senior, she is now an Ambassador for her remaining two years as a girl in Girl Scouting.

Marika, and her fellow scouts Elizabeth and Bailey chose to have their end of the year ceremony and bridging at the lovely Schwetzingen Palace gardens, and follow it all up with a picnic.

So, we raced right over there after seeing Rio onto the bus, and enjoyed perfect weather for such a nice outing.  The grounds of the palace are truly lovely, and a great bargain with the "evening price" of only 2.50 Euro after 5:30 pm.

I wanted to share some photos of the day with you all:

Just a note:  We were really only in a small portion of the gardens for the ceremony.  Sometime this summer I will go over for a full visit and post an entry with many photos to enjoy.

Alright, the next post will be back to the cruise!
